Stop in Midelt for a relaxing lunch before driving along the Ziz River and through the scenic Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass toward Errachidia. From there, continue to the Dades Gorges, with stops at the striking Monkey Fingers rock formation and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the breathtaking Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in the gorges.

After breakfast, journey to the dramatic Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has carved towering red cliffs, offering a perfect spot for hiking, photography, and taking in the striking scenery. Continue through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, with free time for lunch along the way.

Arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert, and switch to camels for a serene trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Pause atop a high dune to watch the unforgettable desert sunset. Conclude the day at a luxury desert camp, blending traditional nomad tents with modern comfort, and enjoy Berber drumming and dancing under the starry sky. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Wake early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast. Return on camels to Merzouga, where your driver awaits. Today is dedicated to exploring the diverse Merzouga region, featuring sand dunes, wild lakes, ancient mines, fossil sites, and picturesque oases—perfect for outdoor adventures.

Begin with a visit to an ancient eyeliner mine, then meet local nomads in their handmade tents to experience traditional Berber life while enjoying tea. Continue to Khamlia Village, renowned for Gnaoua music and dance performances, performed by locals originally from sub-Saharan Africa. After free time for lunch at a local restaurant, stroll through a palm grove before visiting the wild Merzouga Lake, also known as Flamingos Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Merzouga.

After breakfast, depart the desert and visit Rissani, the historic capital of Tafilalet, known for its lively souk still active on market days. Continue to Erfoud to explore a workshop specializing in fossilized marble.

Drive along the Ziz River, stopping for panoramic views of the Ziz Valley, before passing through the Cedars Forest and returning to Ifrane. Arrive back in Fes, where the tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation or the airport. End of the 4-day Fes to Merzouga desert tour.
