Your 2-day Zagora desert adventure begins with an early pick-up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech. Travel through the majestic High Atlas Mountains and the winding Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), passing charming Berber villages nestled into the mountainside. Several stops will be made along the way to admire panoramic views of the valleys and landscapes.
Arrive at the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. Enjoy a guided walk through the ancient streets that have served as filming locations for epic movies such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and the series Game of Thrones.
After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate, continue the journey through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the scenic Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s largest palm grove and longest river. By afternoon, reach Zagora, where your camel caravan awaits. Ride across the dunes and witness a breathtaking sunset over the desert before arriving at your Berber-style desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under a starlit sky, accompanied by rhythmic drum music and warm hospitality.

Wake up early to experience the serene sunrise over the dunes, followed by a Moroccan breakfast at the camp. Then, enjoy a camel ride back to Zagora before meeting your driver.
