The tour begins with an early pickup from your accommodation in Fes, heading south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, renowned for its cool climate, occasional snow, and Alpine-style architecture, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, explore the Cedars Forest, home to playful Barbary Macaques, which you can feed while enjoying the serene surroundings.

Stop in Midelt for lunch before continuing along the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and the scenic Ziz River, entering the vast Sahara Desert. Upon arrival in Merzouga, switch to camels and traverse the sandy dunes, pausing atop a high dune to witness a magical sunset. Continue to a luxury desert camp, where traditional Berber drums, music, and dancing await under a sky full of stars. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Wake up early to admire the unforgettable desert sunrise, then enjoy breakfast. Return by camel to Merzouga, where your driver awaits. Depart the desert for Rissani, the historic capital of Tafilalet, known for its lively souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Continue to Erfoud to explore a workshop specializing in fossilized marble. Drive through the lush palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with towering red cliffs carved by the Todra River—perfect for hiking and photography. After free time for lunch, continue through Boumalne Dades to the Dades Valley, with stops at the famous Monkey Fingers rock formation and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the valley. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Dades.

After breakfast, drive to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Roses Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival in May. Locals offer rose products including perfumes, rose water, oils, and cosmetics. Continue through the palm groves of Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, visiting the film studios and historic Taourirt Kasbah.

Next, explore the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in films such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and series like Game of Thrones.
