Continue to the Cedars Forest, home to Barbary macaques, with an opportunity to feed them while exploring the woodland.

Stop in Midelt for lunch before driving along the scenic Ziz River and through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass toward the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon, arrive at Merzouga, where you will mount camels and cross the golden dunes. Pause atop a high dune to watch a magical sunset before reaching a luxury desert camp. Enjoy traditional Berber music and dancing around the campfire under a sky full of stars. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Wake early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the desert before returning by 4×4 to Merzouga, where your driver awaits. Leave the desert and travel west through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with towering red cliffs carved by the Todra River.

Continue through the scenic valleys and Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, with free time for lunch. Then drive to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and iconic movie location featured in films like Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as the TV series Game of Thrones.
