TOUR Itinerary

Arrival in Tangier. Pick-up from your accommodation, airport, or port. Explore Tangier, including the Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Free time for lunch. Drive inland via Tetouan and the Rif Mountains, stopping for panoramic views. Arrive in Chefchaouen. Overnight in a hotel.

Morning free to wander the blue-washed alleys of Chefchaouen. Drive to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with mosaics, columns, and arches. Continue about 30 km to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, to visit Bab al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani, the Royal Stables and granaries, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Drive to Fes for overnight in a Riad.

Morning guided tour in Fes. Stops include Royal Palace Gate, Borj Sud fortress for panoramic views, and Mellah (Jewish Quarter). Visit the Ceramic Village & School to see traditional craftsmanship. Walking tour of the medina, including Al Attarine Madrasa, University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine, and Chouara Tanneries. Return to your Riad for overnight.

Drive south via Imouzzer to Ifrane, known as “Switzerland of Morocco,” with alpine-style houses and winter snow. Visit Cedar Forest, home to wild Barbary macaques. Lunch stop in Midelt. Cross Tizi-n-Talghamt Pass and follow the scenic Ziz Valley. Arrive at Merzouga Sahara, switch to camels for a desert ride, pause atop a dune for sunset, and continue to a luxury desert camp. Overnight at the camp with Berber drumming.

Early sunrise over the dunes. Drive to Rissani, a historic trading hub. Visit a fossilized marble workshop in Erfoud. Continue through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to the Todra Gorges, where the river carved a spectacular canyon with towering red cliffs. Free time to explore and have lunch. Continue to Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades, stopping at Monkey Fingers rock formations and a scenic viewpoint. Overnight in a hotel in Dades Valley.

Drive to Kelaat M’Gouna to visit the Valley of Roses, known for its annual Rose Festival with rose products and oils. Continue through Skoura palm groves and visit Ouarzazate film studios. Tour the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in films and series. Visit Telouet Kasbah, then cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops for lunch and photos. Arrive in Marrakech and drop-off at your accommodation. End of the 6-day tour.
