TOUR Itinerary

Arrival in Tangier. Pick-up from the airport, port, or accommodation. Begin with a tour of Tangier, visiting the Cave of Hercules and Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Free time for lunch. Drive inland through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains, stopping for panoramic views, before reaching the Blue City of Chefchaouen. Overnight in a Riad.

Morning walking tour of Chefchaouen, exploring the old medina with its blue-painted streets and traditional doors. Learn about local Berber culture and architecture. Free time for lunch. Afternoon hike to the Spanish Mosque for breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Overnight in the same Riad.

Drive to Volubilis, the Roman ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its mosaics and ancient structures. Continue 30 km to Meknes, the imperial city, visiting Bab al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani, the Royal Stables, the granary, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Drive onward to Fes for overnight stay in a Riad.

Morning guided city tour of Fes, starting with Royal Palace Gate, Mellah (Jewish Quarter), and Borj Sud fortress for panoramic city views. Visit Ceramic Village & School to witness traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. Explore the medina, including Al Attarine Madrasa, University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine, and Chouara Tanneries. Return to Riad.

Drive south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, “Switzerland of Morocco,” famous for alpine-style houses and cool climate. Visit the Cedars Forest to see Barbary macaques. Lunch in Midelt. Continue along the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and Ziz Valley. Arrive at Merzouga Sahara, switch to camels for a desert ride, stop for sunset on a high dune, and reach a luxury desert camp for dinner and overnight.

Full day exploring the Merzouga region. Visit a traditional kohl mine, meet nomads in their tents for tea, and experience Gnaoua music in Khamlia village. Stroll the palm grove and visit Merzouga Lake, often home to flamingos. Return to Merzouga for dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Early morning sunrise in the desert. Visit Rissani and its lively souk. Continue to Erfoud to see fossil workshops. Drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to Todra Gorges, carved by the river into high red cliffs—perfect for photography and hiking. Continue through Boumalne Dades to Dades Valley, stopping at the Monkey Fingers rock formations and scenic viewpoints. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Visit Roses Valley in Kalaa Magouna, famous for rose festivals and products. Drive through Skoura palm groves. Explore Ouarzazate, including movie studios. Stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site and movie location. Continue over the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka Pass to Marrakech. Overnight in a Riad.

Drive west to Essaouira, stopping at Argan tree cooperatives and see the goats on trees. Explore Essaouira’s medina, fishing port, ramparts, and beach. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Drive north to Casablanca. Visit Hassan II Mosque, Mohammed V Square, Rick’s Café, and Corniche. Free time for lunch. Overnight in Casablanca.

Drive along the coast to Rabat, visiting Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Kasbah of Oudaya. Lunch break, then drive to Assilah, a charming seaside town. Overnight in a Riad.
