Arrival in Tangier. Pick-up from your accommodation, airport, or port. Explore Tangier, visiting the Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Free time for lunch. Drive inland through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains, stopping for panoramic views along the way. Arrive in Chefchaouen, the Blue City. Overnight in a Riad.

Morning guided tour of Chefchaouen, exploring its charming old medina with white and blue alleys, historic doors, and local markets. Free time for lunch. Afternoon hike to the Spanish Mosque on the hilltop for panoramic views over the city. Return to your Riad in Chefchaouen for overnight stay.

Drive to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with well-preserved mosaics, columns, and arches. Continue to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, visiting Bab al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani, the Royal Stables, granaries, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Drive onward to Fes for overnight in a Riad.

Morning city tour begins with the Royal Palace Gate, Borj Sud fortress for panoramic views, and Mellah (Jewish Quarter). Visit the Ceramic Village & School to see traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. Walking tour through the medina to explore Al Attarine Madrasa, University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine, and the Chouara Tanneries. Return to your Riad to relax.

Drive south via Imouzzer to Ifrane, “Switzerland of Morocco,” known for alpine-style houses and snow in winter. Continue to Cedar Forest, home to wild Barbary macaques. Lunch stop in Midelt. Cross the Tizi n’Talghamt Pass and follow the scenic Ziz Valley. In the afternoon, arrive at Merzouga Sahara, switch to camels to ride into the desert, pause for sunset atop the dunes, and continue to a desert camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast, explore the Merzouga region with sand dunes, seasonal lake, mines, fossil areas, and lush palm oases. Visit an old kohl (eyeliner) mine. Meet nomad families in woven tents for tea and cultural insight. Continue to Khamlia village for Gnaoua music and dance performances. Free time for lunch. Stroll through a palm grove, then drive to Merzouga Lake, often home to flamingos. Return to your hotel or camp for dinner and overnight.

Early wake-up to watch the desert sunrise. Drive to Rissani, a historic trading center with a lively souk. Continue to Erfoud to visit a fossilized marble workshop. Drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach Todra Gorges, with towering red cliffs ideal for hiking and photography. Free time for lunch. Continue to Dades Valley, stopping at Monkey Fingers rock formations and a scenic viewpoint over the valley. Dinner and overnight in a Riad.

Drive to Kalaa Mgouna, visiting the Valley of Roses, famous for the annual Rose Festival showcasing rose water, essential oils, and cosmetics. Continue through Skoura palm groves and visit Kasbah of Amredhyle. Stop at Ouarzazate film studios. Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, UNESCO-listed and famous from Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping for photos and lunch. Overnight in a Riad in Marrakesh.

Morning guided sightseeing in Marrakech: Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, medina and souks, Jamaa El Fna Square, and Koutoubia Mosque exterior. Free time for lunch. Afternoon visit to Majorelle Garden (pre-booking recommended) and drive through Gueliz, the modern district. Return to Riad for overnight.

After breakfast, pick-up from your accommodation. Drive to Casablanca Airport for your departure. Depending on your flight time, a short visit to Hassan II Mosque can be arranged. End of the 10-day Morocco holiday from Tangier. (Option to end in Marrakech if preferred.)
