Spending two nights in the Sahara near Merzouga, beside the breathtaking dunes of Erg Chebbi, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical and perfectly organized. The camel trek into the dunes at sunset was peaceful and absolutely stunning. Watching the golden sand change colors as the sun slowly disappeared behind the dunes was a moment I will never forget. When we reached the camp, we were warmly welcomed with traditional mint tea and genuine Berber hospitality. The tents were beautifully prepared — comfortable beds, clean facilities, and charming Moroccan décor that made the experience both authentic and cozy. Even in the heart of the desert, we felt completely comfortable. The food exceeded expectations. Dinner was delicious and generous, with fresh Moroccan soup, flavorful tagine, warm bread, and sweet desserts. Everything tasted homemade and prepared with care. At night, the atmosphere became even more special. We gathered around the campfire, enjoyed traditional Berber music and drumming, and laughed together under one of the clearest skies I have ever seen. The stars in the Sahara are simply breathtaking — bright, endless, and unforgettable. The second day allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the desert. We watched a peaceful sunrise over the dunes, tried sandboarding, explored the area, and simply appreciated the silence and beauty around us. Staying two nights made a huge difference — it allowed us to disconnect from daily life and fully immerse ourselves in the desert rhythm. The staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Their warmth and professionalism made the experience even more special.

Wir haben eine Kameltour mit einer Übernachtung gebucht. Gestartet sind wir an der Auberge La Liberte. Die Tour startete am Morgen um 10Uhr. Mach 1,5h kamen wir in eine Oase und haben dort auch etwas zu essen bekommen. Nach ca. 4h (nach der Mittagshitze) ging es weiter zum Camp. Unser Guide Mohammed war sehr gut. Er hat uns viel über die Wüste und auch Tiere und Pflanzen erzählt, was ich sehr interessant fand. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür. Es war sehr schön und entspannend auf den Kamelen zu reiten.

Hemos tenido una experiencia increíble haciendo el tour de 3 días desde Marrakech a Fez. La noche en el desierto fue mágica con los bereberes y su música. Hemos tenido la suerte de encontrarnos con un grupo de gente que nos acompañó y nos hizo pasar unos días muy agradables. Los guías nos han explicado mucho sobre la cultura marroquí y han amenizado mucho el tour, junto con nuestro conductor Hamid, que ha sido muy atento y divertido. Nos ha hecho reír mucho a pesar de las largas horas de carretera.

We stayed in the desert for 2 nights and we loved it. The people in the camp were really kind and close to its visitors. The breakfast and dinner was included, and it did not disappoint us at all. I went to their camp with 3 friends and we lived really different experiences. From the quiet night, through an amazing desert trekking to the super fun quad experience! We would recommend you to stay at least for 2 nights. That will give you the time to really relax in the dunes and follow you own pace. If you only have time for one night, you should try to get ther early!!

Amazing sunset in the Sahara desert and great stay in the camp and the auberge! Beautiful desert tour! We enjoyed the camel trip and the amazing sunset on the dunes, before arriving at the camp. The accommodation was perfect, very comfortable and we have been welcome by a lovely dinner and the kindness of the people there!
