6-Day Tour Tangier Marrakech, During the first day of your trip, we will meet you at the port and drive through the Rif mountains, passing by Tetouan city to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains until we get to Chefchaouan, one of the stunning villages at the foot of the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, rooftop restaurants, and cafes. If we have time, we can do a short visit and continue our way to Fes, where we will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast, we will have an explorative morning of Fes medina, where you will visit many hidden treasures that only the inhabitants of the place know about. Fes served as the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world. Your guided tour will take you to Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains and the Tanneries. At about 1:00 pm, we will drive south to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas mountains, where you will have the opportunity to see the monkeys in the wildlife, and then arrive in Midelt and overnight in a fancy hotel kasbah with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast we will start traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock; you’ll see views of the High Atlas plateau and the scenery changing to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. We’ll continue our journey through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. At the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and ride your camel to see the sunset in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco and spend the night there. Overnight at our desert camp, where you will have your dinner.

Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. En route, you won’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes—changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and a hot shower, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges—the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco—and after lunch in the heart of the gorges, we will continue to Dades Valley and Roses Valley and arrive in Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy traditional guesthouse with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast in your riad, we will drive to the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest kasbah in Morocco. After touring this UNESCO-matrimonial historical site, our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains. We will have time to stop and enjoy the impressive views and visit the argan oil cooperative. lunch in the heart of the mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and still have some time to explore the famous square (Jemaa El Fna ) and overnight in a traditional riad in the medina with dinner and breakfast.
