DAY 1 : MERZOUGA VILLAGE – CAMEL RIDE – NIGHT IN DESERT TENT :

We offer an authentic and unforgettable desert experience that begins with a scenic camel ride through the dunes. Your journey includes a stay in private tents, each equipped with comfortable mattresses and warm blankets for a restful night under the stars. Mineral water is provided throughout the tour, and you’ll enjoy full-board service, including all meals during your desert excursion.

The package also includes well-trained camels, experienced camel drivers, knowledgeable local guides, traditional desert clothing, and protective covers to ensure your comfort during the trip.

Please note that during the colder months — from November to February — we highly recommend bringing your own sleeping bag for extra warmth, as nighttime temperatures in the desert can become quite chilly.

So, your adventure begins at 4:00 p.m. when your camel guide leads you on a peaceful ride through the golden dunes to our desert camp, nestled deep in the heart of the Sahara. Along the way, you’ll pause at the top of a tall dune to admire and photograph the stunning desert sunset — a magical and unforgettable moment.

Upon arriving at the camp, each pair of guests will be provided with a private Berber tent, offering both authenticity and comfort. Dinner will be served in a traditional Berber dining tent, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Moroccan meal made with fresh, local ingredients.

After dinner, we invite you to gather around the campfire beneath the starry desert sky. Also, you’ll enjoy live music with traditional Berber, Tuareg, and southern Moroccan songs, featuring drumming, singing, and dancing. It’s a vibrant, cultural celebration that beautifully captures the spirit and soul of the desert.

DAY 2: EXPLORING MERZOUGA DESERT :

In the morning, after enjoying a traditional breakfast at the camp, we will begin our journey to our next destination — a small, peaceful oasis tucked away among the vast sand dunes. The ride takes approximately one hour and offers stunning views of the ever-changing desert landscape along the way. Once we arrive, we’ll settle in for a relaxing day in this tranquil and remote spot.

At the oasis, a freshly prepared lunch will be served, and the afternoon will be filled with a variety of enjoyable activities. One of the highlights of the day will be climbing the highest dune in the Erg Chebbi region. From the top, you’ll have the chance to try sandboarding — a fun and adventurous way to glide down the golden slopes. As the day winds down, we’ll gather at the summit of the dune to watch the sunset — a truly breathtaking view as the sky transforms into a canvas of warm, glowing colors over the endless sea of sand.

After sunset, we’ll return to our desert camp for a second unforgettable night beneath the stars. A delicious Moroccan dinner will be served, followed by an evening of traditional music around the campfire. To end the night, guests are invited to take a quiet walk into the dunes to gaze at the star-filled sky — a magical and serene moment that perfectly captures the spirit of the Sahara.

DAY 3: CAMEL RIDE INTO MERZOUGA VILLAGE :

In the early morning, you’ll be gently awakened to witness one of the desert’s most magical moments — the sunrise. As the first light of day spreads across the dunes, the landscape transforms into a breathtaking canvas of gold, orange, pink, and red. It’s a peaceful, unforgettable experience that perfectly captures the beauty and serenity of the Sahara.

So, after watching the sunrise, and perhaps taking a few memorable photos, you’ll ride back to the hotel, enjoying the cool morning air and the quiet majesty of the desert along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a traditional Berber breakfast — a delicious and satisfying way to begin the day. Afterward, you’ll have time to relax and take a refreshing shower, washing away the desert sand and recharging before continuing your journey or embarking on a new adventure. This day will be your last day of 3 Days / 2 Nights In The Desert (Private Desert Excursion) with us.
